Hello,
Is margin trading allowed on an IPO share on its listing date? If not, any idea roughly how much time it takes for margin trading to be allowed?

HEY GUYS
i got the allotment of 17 shares at 5 % discounted price and today i thought of making some quick bucks on intraday basis but i guess i failed today as i incurred a good amt of loss,
i purchased at 30 shares @523 Rs average and MOIL closed at 464 so i have incurred loss but i took delivery and thinking of doing BTST so i have kept those shares and will try to get out tommarrow as i am expecting a positive opening, so i am hoping to make this loss into reasonable profit.
