Intraday Trading with Gann

Hi all gurus,

I have been i market for few years and was spending all my time in only buying fundamentally good stocks. After making huge loss i realized that buying good stocks is not enough and one also needs to buy at good price. So slowly shifted my focus from Fundamental analysis to technical analysis and started learning trading. I my eagerness to learn more about TA i googled and found this thread. This is like a goldmine but the unfortunate thing is i am able to understand very little. I understood GANN trading but could not understand the amibroker with NOWR2TB software at all. I recently took an account with zerodha and started trading nifty. i wish to learn more about trading nifty from you all.

I downloaded amibroker and it shows only dowjones and doesnot even show nifty. Can someone guide me please. Can someone come online via yahoo chat or give me their phone numbers so that i can call you and talk to you.

By default Amibroker will show DIJA that is dowjones, you need to have a EOD data of nifty or RT Data of nifty only then it will show up on ami.
you need to create a new database for nifty and then download it to show on ami.

Thank you. i downloaded bhav data and was able to export that data to amibroker. Now please tell me how to take the best use of amibroker. Why is everyone talking about amibroker. I have power indiabulls software and it also displayes charts realtime...so i am not able to understand what is so special about amiboker.
