For retail investor, the limit is Rs.2 lakhs as on record date. So we can safely assume 200 shares limit, for a closing price < 1000 on record date.
As on march 31, 2017, if all the people who hold shares in retail category apply for buyback, then it would be ~59%. But we don't know how many more would have bought the shares and offer for buyback on record date, Nov 1, 17.
