Hey niftydatamagic,

You do not have to download Google drive. This is a cloud service of Google and Google provides you personal storage space on their own server. You therefore use their space to store your files . Space is upto 10 GB or even more. The work involves Uploading your files, that will off course consume your Internet Data for the size of the files uploaded.

You can share the files or even folders through the download links generated.

Microsoft offers same kind of service in the form of onedrive .

But I have already downloaded GD and it has used up a lot of space of my HD
I uninstalled GD but it didnt help and still the space is being used up by Google.
The problem with downloading anything of Google is, it installs quite a good amount of scrap along with the actual S/W installation. :annoyed:

Will take up the issue of uninstalling all the scrap this weekend.
