Hedging is useful for all time ?

Hedging can be a profitable approach by some traders, but according to me it is the process to lost equity again, instead of hedging it would be better to close the order. And practically by and large regulated trading brokers don’t allow hedging as well scalping.

even hedging not for retail trader like us, it's mostly useful for institutions, if you know how/where to exit from hedging then trade but no more profit while hedging.
it maybe a tool to protect profit/loss on trades upto expiry

I think the choice between hedging and closing a position depends on the trader's strategy, risk tolerance, and market conditions. While hedging can protect against losses and preserve capital, closing a position is often simpler and eliminates potential further losses.

Hedging can be useful to manage risk in various market conditions, but its effectiveness depends on the specific circumstances and the goals of the investor or trader. It is not a one-size-fits-all strategy and should be carefully considered based on the individual's financial objectives and market outlook.
