Futures Trading in a truly diversified portfolio

Excellent but can you let us know in advance your target of each position if any and also let us know when you actually book profit.
Thanks for your nice question. I welcome all other queries.

Except on rare occasion (large gap in favour of my position etc.), I normally book my profit by trailing stop loss tactic. This ensures that I remain in the move when there are big trends.

My trading method is slow. I may not get more than 1-2 trade per day on an average. The positions are carried over so long as the initial stop loss or trailing stop loss is not hit. This can sometimes be a day and at other times it may be upto 2-3 weeks.

My experience has taught me that fast trading of large positions leads to quick burn out of trader. Similarly, under-capitalization gives way to large percentage draw downs which eventually becomes difficult to tolerate. In such scenarios, eventually the system is blamed for failures and is given up.

However, this is not the complete story.
