For Finvasia, they are getting additional revenue by charging for NestTrader, 45R per segment per month. Though AFAIK, no other broker is charging for NestTrader.
(Dont think that I am complaining).
Posted just for info.
But still their web based trading is free, isnt it.. now Rs 45 per month is really nothing as it amount to Rs 1.50 per day per segment, now how much is that considering their brokerage absolutely free .. :)

I dont know about their web based trading. I use NestTrader only.
Yes, 45 per segment is nothing, that why I mentioned in my post (that I not complaining),why they are charging for trading platform.
But one thing I will like to add, a broker provides good service, till you wont have to call him for any reason (except for query or petty reasons) . Right na !!!!!!

But one thing to note is that if one wants leverage from them and consider doing business in many lots then their charges will add up to quite a lot which I found in their explanation about leverage charges in their respective thread.
