hmp ur mistaken to understand that i quote if the price is coming down in cash take short position in future. now today icici below 913 so take short in future

today if icici bank close above 913 close the short position and wait because of today icici bank result

so friday icici close above 913. we close the short position and wait. if monday it will not trade below 913, then we take long from it or update monday onwards. still we hold tatastell short from 428. now its 399 on friday closing.
