Another Bhavcopy Downloader (ABCD)

Dear Josh, if u use MCX bhavcopy to download in amibroker ,please make help video to how to do it? with continues series like crudeoil-I, silver-I.. & option mcx
so that we do as per ur advice..

today bhavcopy not downloading . it is a common in year beginning may be. another downloaders also not working. indices downloaded but not bhavcopy

Which one are you referring to ?

I just tried NSE cashmarket and it gives error
"Server made a boo boo ......NSE Bhavcopy not found-error-error"

Yes Bhavcopy available on NSE site, ABCD doing boo boo for 1 and 2nd Jan 2019, but downloaded for 31st Dec 2018.
Some hang-over may be.

Yes forgot to mention that 31 dec 2018 works, just 1st and 2nd jan both don't. but the URL is matching for both website and ABCD so I don't know what it could be.

BSE and F&O files are downloading .. but issue is only with NSE EQ data

but sometimes to avoid these kind of temporary issues we should know the basics of importing data into Amibroker -

Follow below steps to import data to till issue gets resolve


1) Download bhav csv file file from nseindia.com

2) Filter only EQ and BE Series

3) Keep only below colulmns

SYMBOL,TIMESTAMP,OPEN,HIGH,LOW,CLOSE,PREVCLOSE,TOTTRDQTY

4) Change data format 02-01-2019

5) Amibroker data format

$FORMAT Ticker,APPENDTICKER,Open,High,Low,Close,Skip,skip,Volume
$SKIPLINES 1
$OVERWRITE 1
$SEPARATOR ,
$DEBUG 1
$AUTOADD 1
$BREAKONERR 1
$DATE_DMY

there are another downloader "nse eod data downloader" by rohit and also ABCD downloader not working as per bhavcopy but indices downloading. ys i also noticed log file. but getbhavcopy with set up change worked. last year as i remembered that from 1st january this happened but latter resolved itself

is it a temporary issue or developer have to update it to enable to download equity bhavcopy?

Hey buddies. Good to see that you have done basic investigation before writing here. I get irritated when somebody just says ABCD is not working.
NSE has followed BSE and shifted to Secured http(https from http. I will have to change the code for downloading. Give me some time.
