Commodities - Charts and Datafeeds

Hi friends,

I recently started trading the crude oil future on MCX with a prop trading firm. I am going to start trading crude from home, so I am looking for real-time charts of MCX Crude.

Please suggest good MCX real-time charting services/data feeds.

Hi, as you all nows that nothing come free in life, and if you get from somewhere its not real it has some drawbacks...

So, friend if you like to realy move for realtime chart than you have to purchase good data or good broker who provide trading plateform with live charts........

Its new info for me that prop trading firms are allowing you to trade from home, as far as I know you can only trade on their premiss. If it is ok for you to share info regarding the same I will be grateful as I have good setup for myself to trade the same.

I use this for checking the $ price ... its free and hence slightly delayed ... i found it better than investing.com

as far as RT data goes for MCX, GDFL is one of the best around ... they used to give out a 3 day trial ... do check ..

Best option is.. take GDFL datafeed since you would be trading for the firm and wouldn't want to make silly mistakes coz of wrong feed etc. If you use Amibroker then go for the product called nimbledatapro. They developed this specially for Amibroker.. is really smooth/fast and very reliable. I have been using it for FnO and in love wid it. Would cost around 2500/- per month for MCX but if you have zerodha/rksv a/c then you can fetch some discount too.

Why not trading at the trading floor of the prop trading firm ?

I am trading my own account from home. I spend only 4 hours at prop firm and they do not have charts, but it is pure trading based on CME data feed from Reuters.

GDFL seems to be the best as many people advised the same.
