Repeated Failures in Crude

No Matter what or which way I try, crude has been very cruel in giving me repeated failures throughout since I started trading. Any suggestion to avoid.

Please post How are u trading crude? What method are you using,
trading the trend ? or trading momentum , intraday or positional ? Then we can discuss

I trade using pivot point based system and intraday....below pivot sell, above pivot buy with fixed sl and target...

Operator also know Pivot buddy. Don't trade at S1 R1 rather try to trade near Trend reversal Pivot. Also use some standered tools like Ma MACD RSI

But of late crude is behaving as if it was manipulated!! So volatile and suddenly it comes no where from the day's higher to reach the stop loss (which would then become the day's lower) and go up again.... Anyone have any idea of why is this happening? Any automated trading or high volume guys doing this wantedly or does MCX has a role for such issues? I have not only seen this once but quite a few times!! Even today, just now it happened, it was trading the day's higher at 4739 and suddenly went down drastically crossed 4706 and touched 4702 where i had placed the SL and going back again!!! :mad:

As i mentioned before, If you trying to trade the trend try to trade it positoinaly..what you said is bound to happen in shorter time frames coz of volatility. I am also trying to make a system for trading crude intra-day and till now i feel, its better to trade momentum rather than pivots if you are trading intraday.

may be there is a prob with your approach itself, there is no prob with crude , if u can stand a 30 point stop , go long at cmp , we r long too , lets see y there is repeated failures for you only.
