MCX AND NCDEX are two different exchanges.

The volumes on MCX are good, if you want to get into commodity then mcx is fine. And the MCX is one of the fastest growing exchanges. Most of the guys i know trade on mcx(mostly in gold and silver).
mcx has large volumes especially in gold and silver.

hi..
It depends upon which commodity u want 2 trade. If u want to trade metals or commodities that are traded worldwide, go for mcx. u will find more liquidity there. if u want to trade agri, go for ncdex. first decide which commodity u want 2 trade and then find out which exchange provides better liquidity in that particular commodity.
the exchange charges in mcx these days are lesser than those of ncdex.

hope this helps.

regards

Anurag

MCX and NCDEX are the two parts of commodity market.

MCX includes base metals like gold, silver, copper and crude oil, natural gases etc. commodities.

On the other hand NCDEX includes soyabean, turmeri, mustardseed etc.

So are you interested to invest in the commodity market?

Hello Dr Mantriji,

I have software which can download EOD data from MCX/NSE/BSE with volume/openinterest/indices data and export to AmiBroker/FCharts software directly . You can set schedular to update daily evening also.

software is EOD2AmiBroker / EOD2FCharts
