Sharekhan Brokerage Calculation

Can someone use sharekhan explain how they calculate brokerage,

I mean 0.1% for intra and 0.5% for delivery, but how they charge other taxes ?

for intra they charge, 0.1% on buy and 0 on sell leg

now for buy
10.3% service tax on brokerage
0% STT

for Sale
Service Tax ??
STT ??
Stamp Duty ??
Turnover Charges ??
Edu Cess ??
Higher Edu Cess ?

can anyone pls advice what are this charges in % term ?

I am creating my excel sheet to moniter trades, so its required to set formulas.

which broker is providing lowe brokerage without fix commitments ?

I want to figure out actual cost to put in excel sheet automatic, currently i have to insert manually. I am working to set formula so i just have to enter the qty and share price, others should perform automatic and give me actual profit/loss

I am not able to figure out service tax on sale side where there is no actual brokerage arise. Sharekhan has nil brok. on sale side.

I m in initial stage of intraday trading and my volume is not high as mention in AMC schemes, I have not apply for amc, my daily volume around 25-50k on side at max.

I am not trading in FnO.

How they charge you, currently they are deducting some service tax on sale side as well, on sell there is no brokerage, so i guess no service charge should be there or am i wrong some where ? just drop and email to myaccount let see what they reply.

I am able to figure out accurate charges for brok., service tax on buy, stt, needs help with Stamp duty, edu cess, turnover charges.

Thanks, but sheet seems to protected, how to unprotect it, its not asking password but still it prompting msg to first unprotect the sheet.

Adi, just copied, but charges for Stamp duty, turnover tax and edu cess missing,

also in intraday , sharekhan charging on buy leg only.

Anyway wonderful sheet, cut my job to half

Stamp duty and turnover tax are calculated for the whole contract and not on per transaction basis (by indiabulls)

and education cess is included in service tax


to unprotect the sheet --- go to review tab and click on unprotect sheet
no password is assigned to it
it has been protected to prevent accidental modification
