RPL Bonus share

Hi,
RPL recently announced bonus share in the ration of 3:5. Now i need some clarifications.

• When will we get the bonus share?
• Do we need to apply for it again?
• Will it be given free of cost or do we need to pay any amount to get
  bonus share?
• I got 17 shares. How much bonus shares will I get?

I am new to trading and please forgive me if anyone feels my doubts are silly

Free? Yes
17 share? buy 3 then u will get 12 free otherwise only 9 free

bonus share? yes and the share value will be revised to 270 and then the market will decide the fair price. if u think rel power share si worth 270 or more u can hold post bonus for gain, else u can sell pre bonus. take your call

I got 17 shares. How much bonus shares will I get? 5:3 meaning u get 9 shares + around 325 bucks...

may be he is referring to reliance power limited..... reliance petroleum...??? bonus issue...??? no news...!!!!

you can sure keep it until bonus. your buy price is best. Hence wait till bonus declaration day and sell existing shares(100) just after record date is announced and keep the bonus share for long term as u have'nt spend any on that bonus share.
