it would only mean that the importing was not proper. Please elaborate the procedure used by you and then maybe we can suggest something.
The databse selction maybe wrong... but unlikely as you are getting the symbols.. |

Hi
In Amibroker In the file menu select ASCII Import wizard The Wizard window will open Click on Pick files.. and Select the folder which contains the ASCII data Once the file is selcted click next You will get an windows where up to seven columns are shown with name “Ticker” .”YMD”, “open”, “High”, “ Low”, “close” and “Volume” For each of these columns select the appropriate column in your ASCII file You are then actually mapping the columns of your ASCII data file Once this is done .. click finish.. check the box “Add current setting to ASCII definition” Then you can use the same definition again.. as this is saved as a ASCII format file Take care about the date format.. normally that creates the prob.. Hope you will succeed. |

Dear friends,
I have got a good software which gives historical data and that is: ***** historical data downloader http://www.download.com/*****-Histor...-10595586.html just download this software and then you can get all the datas from which ever day you want. other site just provides data for current year. but if you want to go for even swing trading you need atleast past 3 years data, because u first need to see all the weekly and monthly chart for good trading. please post your comments..
