what has happened

Hi ,
i had to format my comp. so i reinstalled amibroker afterwards , now i'm having a problem adding to the d.b i'm adding tickers trough the amibroker->symbol->new
and for some reason they are not being updated , it adds them to the amiquote list but when i scroll down to them in amiquote there is no data and allso it is not updating the tickers that came with amiquote this is realy strange , no errors in amiquote
what am i doing wrong i'm doing it just like i did before but it isn't working ...
