option strategy

I was going through these two strategies below. Can anyone please tell if these have any time decay issue until expiration ?Author is silent about time decay.

yea..its true options will have time decay ...my intention was to find strategy where I don't have to worry about time decay much.....have offset in one of the legs in nature.
