as i told so ?????

who is this person ? any level provider / any software / or any other thing ?
Thanks for your comments.
I hope you wont mind if I answer your post in the evening. But in the mean time please do let me know, how you define a level provider or a tipster (as commonly mentioned in various threads) and a technical analyst and what is the difference between the two.

Thanks

BTW this is an open question and if any other member wants to reply can do so. I will be thankful to him too.

One more question (open to all)

I am a new entrant (though already completed about 3 months) in this trading line. For help, to whom one should choose, a technical analysts, who do not want to give guidance in analysis learning and cannot provide me good levels for next day OR a level provider (who also helps in gaining knowledge in analysis learning) and whose levels gives good results.

Thanks

Sorry, I am not promoting any level provider or blaming any technical analyst here. Only a question. Mods can delete this post, if they think otherway

Just came across your thread. Good start.

But after reading this post... my question is..

How can a level provider help you in learning ?? Level provider will just give you things like.. Buy @ 123.. Sell @ 789.. etc

Don't strive to become an analyst or level provider/seeker if you love trading... rather try to become a Trader !

Analyst :

Has loads of technical knowledge and can talk hours about what happened in the past and what can possibly happen in the future. eg : TV Analysts, TV Anchors, Some people who provide research based tips. But when it comes to taking real trade on their own money, not everyone is good at it. In fact this is one of the reason why many analysts who appear on TV don't trade for themselves. ;)

Trader :

Trader knows technical and psychologies etc. A good trader not necessarily need to know all the micro tehnicalities of the market but he/she can trade well with real money in real time. A trader manages his/her psychology, capital, loss/win very well and therefore makes money from the market.

Thanks for your reply. Will post my feel in the evening as I am a slow key board user (I mean cant type at a speed :D).
I hope you wont mind my reply for the last para, I ask for your apology if you feel otherwise. As I understand, you are in trading line for last 3 years or may be more, you can say so with ease. But how did you start with the trading. Perhaps the same way as every one starts with :). So, the million dollar question is how to start with, how one can know the movement of the market. How to go for a trading system. Perhaps from experience and you have this experience.
I know to start with trading in any market is a very tedious job. It is said that one should learn before jumping in such markets. But learning is a very slow process and major problem is, from where to learn and from whom to learn the basics and where to get the solution of your problems and queries. So one has to choose the easy way, may be that way is full of cheaters and fraudsters. One has to go for a search of a guru, teacher or mentor (whatever you call him) and this is an endless search, I feel, till one gets one such person.

In business line it is said that to earn first rupee is difficult but not after that, one can earn easily after that as one has learnt the way, how to earn.

Thanks for reading my post :)

Take your time wave. No hurry. Also, as long as discussion is healthy there is nothing to be apologetic about. We all are learner no matter how far one gets in the world of trading.

Now coming back to your thought on "learning is a slow process.... how to start.. where to go etc.."

Let me give you an example.. Is becoming a doctor a slow process ? What about engineer, a CEO in a company, or a sceintist etc ? What about having an established business such a shop, mall, resturant, real estate business ? Nothing is fast right.. all takes its time and if one tries to hurry up, might fall flat on itz face.

So the point is that you have to consider Trading as any other profession in the world. It takes time.. trust me. I'm telling from my own experience as well as what I have heard or seen others doing. If one is starting from scratch, it will very easily take 2-3 years minimum to become consistently profitable.

If you want to become a doctor, you cant say dt it takes years of study and pratice.. I can just watch some youtube video on how to do heart surgery and read a few books and start operating people. You know what is the end result of it.. right. :) Similar is trading. Give it time.. take things slow and steady. Take one step at a time

Now how to go about it :

First step is dt don't get bogged down. There are tons and tons of things to learn and if you see them all as huge mt everst to climb, u will feel disheartened. Take one step at a time. There are many threads here in TJ itself. Go to basic section... read each of the starred threads first. Understand them apply them. Most of them are very basic foundation. Once you understand, you will know your next path. Just continue the journey and dont look back.

One thing I must tell you that don't be in hurry to make money (either by directly jumping to trade on your own or on someone els'es advice) because 99.9% chances are dt you will just burn a hole in your capital.

All the Best !!

Today was the day of anxiety, fear, greed and hope but end result was good, able to gather about 43 points :) It may not matter much (let me assume, for a while ) to me, whether or not I make some money on my trades. What matters most is, that I should not end with a day, in loss. Because a day in loss shakes ones confidence.
BNF opened gap up, above the first level and soon reached right at the second level (both levels, as I was told), so was in a dilemma (anxiety) to enter or not, and decided not enter. I was told to take short trades. But as I am not at all comfortable in taking short trades (fear), I did not enter short trade. So it was a boring day, only to see price moving down and down and then in a range. After 2.30 I tried to enter twice but didnt get a fill, but at last get an entry at 18806, with a hope that I might get some khurchan at least  But as the trade went on in my favour, greed took on me and I hoped to get maximum. Somehow, I controlled my self, and finally closed at 15849. A profit of about 43 points

Posting my trade.

Hi Manish bhai

Though every sentence of your post may be correct, but I have my own view on professional education that takes several years of study and practice.
Age is a big factor. While studying medical, engineering or any professional course, that takes many year for its completion, most of the student are of young age, no dependent, no liabilities etc. So they can take this slow process. Similarly for opening of a new business and venture. Most of them has a solid financial back.
But one can carry on trading, though on a smaller scale (after basic knowledge) only to gain experience, while learning and gaining knowledge, side by side. Its a fact that one cannot become expert in market in few days of learning, it is a process of slow learning (by his own, self study), trading trades as per his knowledge, loosing some and gaining some trades. It need practice/experience.
Let us take a case, suppose a first or second year medical student suffers from some illness. Can he treat himself. No he cant, he has to visit some experienced doctor. But for a new trader all such facility is not available or even if available, it is all half baked or not easily understandable.
Even the best cream of knowledge is of no use in practical world without training and experience. Take an example of doctor, he has to take internship of 6/12 months, a new lawyer has to work under an experienced one for many year as an assistant. Even the top post, new officers of IAS rank has to go for a compulsory training for few weeks to few months. But there is no such facility for a trader, he has to do all such training by oneself, or with the help of friends, guru, mentor etc (if he has one) otherwise he takes the risk of carrying on of his own.

Very well said. :clap::clap:
I am taking my time in learning and am in no hurry in jumping and investing a big money. I am keeping a tab (trying) not to enter into a loosing trade whether I may get or not a profitable trade.
You are an experienced trader. So a suggestion or a request, you can say. Are you posting your trades somewhere in a thread with charts and reasons behind taking that trade at that very time. If no, then I request you to please start such a thread to help we new entrants, so as to learn, when to take a trade, reasons behind it etc. etc. But please try that the language is simple and easy to understand. I went through some threads but it went over the head (sar ke upar se nikal gaya), as they were explaining to some experienced ones and not a newcomer.
You may be short of time but please think over my request and please devote some 15/30 minutes to start with. It will be of great help to us.
Thanks

Dell bhai
You didnt answer to my post (nor any one else). As it would have been easy for me to post my answer.
Anyway, he is a level provider, having a good knowledge of technical analysis (may not be an expert in layman words), now more a friend and a teacher/guru for me.
