Hi everyone

I would like to bring in all the chart patterns at one place

symetrical traingle
ascending traingles
descending traingles
wedges
flags and penants

more patters would be discussed later

I will try to put the the best examples
I hope this would surely be of help to all who are in the novice phases of technical analysis

Before starting to post i request everyone to post as many charts as possible because this thread is purely for development in recognition of chart patterns and i believe contribution from all members would make this thread a great platform for learning patterns

Objective of starting this thread :

Next time we see charts we should be able to recognise these patterns and apply them to out decision making .

Ascending triangles are generally considered bullish and are most reliable when found in an uptrend.

The top part of the triangle appears flat, while the bottom part of the triangle has an upward slant.

Volumes are important factors of confirmation in chart patterns

In ascending triangles, the market becomes overbought and prices are turned back. Buying then re-enters the market and prices soon reach their old highs, where they are once again turned back. Buying then resurfaces, although at a higher level than before. Prices eventually break through the old highs and are propelled even higher as new buying comes in.

wrong chart so deleted

thnks byets

my sole pupose is not to prove anythin i am just a learner myself .

through this thread people newbies like me should kno what these patterns look like on a chart and which patterns in an uptrend or a downtrend

I dont quote that i know evrything its a process of self learning

its for newbies like me who wonder what an ascending traingle or any pattern would look like on a chart

as the process starts details of these patterns in an uptrend with volumes and indicators would give a clearer picture

anyways thanks for ur sugestions

could u please eloborate on what things are missing

your contribution would help lot
