I tried to extract file to c drive but it shows error

C:\Users\k\desktop\dl.zip:Cannot create dl.exe
Access is denied.

I extracted it in another place and copy pasted it to c drive. Thats why it is not working I think

Access is denied... means something is wrong in your system not the software...

pl tell how can i download bse,mcx,world market, commodities just like what meta stock EOD data download doing. can this programme download by the same bhav cope folder or we have to create seperate bhavcope by diffrenet names of exchange. how can we do it if different names required.

Can you help me do it for nse-indicesbse,mcx,currency,us commodities,indices.is there any changes required for the same ,if it is ? can make a combined programme with different bhavcopy names?

Some comments / observations:

1. This is a very fast program and is greatly appreciated.

2. While your current input "dl yyyy" is very convenient, if I am looking for December data, then, I will have to download all the days from 01-Jan-09before I get to my data. So, may I request that while the default option could continue to be "dl yyyy", it would be super convenient if we were able to input start and end dates, along the lines of "dl -s yyyymmdd -e yyyymmdd" where the -s and the -e options indicate the start and end dates.

3. Looks like NSE has changed their data format yet again, and so your program is unable to download data after 01-Dec-09.

Today I downloded this software and try to extract. But My Antivirus Software(K 7) saying this file containing Trojan Virus and Deleted it automatically. Sorry to say this, may be it come from that downloaded website. So Can you upload new file in r a p i d s h a r e or 4 s h a r e d Web sites?

I couldnt use it. I had copied application in c drive and also made a folder (Bhavcopy) start run cmd then dl 2010 enter.
It shows dl is not recognized as internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

In dos window i am getting=
C:\Documents and Settings\basu>

cursor is exactly where ">" ends and I typed there 'dl 2010' and then pressed enter and get the message;
"dl is not recognized as internal or external command, operable program or batch file."
