I want to invest in mutual funds,So is it ok to invest with dmat a/c?.r i want to contact AMC?..pl reply me friends. i have a dmat A/c. thats y. If i invest through dmat,any extra charge i want to give? pl Thanks in advance

Invest directly with Mutual Funds instead of through distributors.

Direct version of MF have 0.5-1% lower expenses. So, if say have a 10L portfolio, using non-direct funds will pay your distributor 5000-10000 every year ... Makes no sense.
