Hi all

After initial hiccups, now that the juice has started flowing form 30 min flow...

I wanted to expand a little bit more....want to progressively convert as a Pro...

Wud like to add one more monitor, atleast 20 inches, which we can for <7k nowadays.

i have a Dell lappy now and toggle between charts with my mouse. Thinking why not get a new monitor...

Guys...help me...

1. can i use another monitor along with Dell lappy??

2. Reqmt is that i can see multiple charts on the biggy monitor and keep my trade terminal on my lappy monitor.

3. What u Pro guys do??...have 3 or 4 monitors and watch charts on one, and keep world markets on the other monitor....plz share ur experience...so that we also know how a Pro plays the field

4. Not but not the least, share ur friends experience as well

5. I see adaptability issues of Samsung LCD monitors with Dell lappy.... http://www.notebookforums.com/post2916768.html#post2916768 ... so want to go in for Dell (129$ in USA) or LG (Rs6900 in India) monitor....any issues with these??

Thanx///Shanki :thumb:

I use one computer with 2 monitors. One one monitor I place the TradeTiger application running with multiple charts and on the other I use their web interface. This enables quicker execution and monitoring.

Hope you are using winxp or vista.

Just plugin any monitor and right click on the desktop and and you find graphic options there... Click on the required option and enjoy. You dont have to break your head for connecting second monitor. Its just plug n play types.

Hi

I track around 6 scrips....and i dont trade NF or BNF...

From ur msg, i understand, that we do not need any new Video card or any other spl hardware. Just buy new monitor and we can use it. As Vjay has asked in his msg, hope i wud be able to do different work in the secondary monitor and it just does not act as a mirror of the primary monitor. For eg, Work with word file in secondary and with excel file in primary monitor...?

Yes, you will be able to have different applications open on the second monitor, no extra hardware is required.

From the message above it came to my knowledge that Samsung monitors have problem with dell notebooks. For quite some time I am using dell inspiron with a additional monitor of samsung make, but I have not installed any software / drivers for samsung :thumb:

That seems to have saved my notebook screen
