I want this software to record the data to excel or some database (access/sql) Is it possible.... ?
Bhavesh, for the last couple of days there has been unusual activity on my server where the O2A page is located. Would I be right in guessing that it was as a consequence of your project request at freelancer ? If so, it is heartening to note that you are serious enough to be willing to pay for what you want.

To answer your question, yes. It is just code after all.

Version 0.6 is available for download. The new features in this release are capture of Orders Book and Trades to output files.

Download link same as in the first post.

Bhavesh, the long pending next step will be capture of Level II / Best 5 / Market Picture, and the extension to include MCX/BSE.

Order placement and trade monitoring is not something I will release in the near future. However, you appear to have order placement in place, right?

For whatever reason, you appear to be using the old settings file. The Node Name in the new version should be OrdersBook to match with Odin usage. To correct this (you could probably ignore step 1):

1. Locate the settings file. See the help file, Settings/Configuration section to know its location. Delete or rename it.

2. Start O2A; ignore the message telling you that it cannot find the settings file (or that there is an error)

3. Configure O2A, and remember to click Save in the Settings dialog.

I cannot help you with using ASCII files with AmiBroker. If that is the intent, you are probably better off with a utility that writes Odin data directly to AmiBroker rather than going via ASCII output files.
