Would request you to take some algo trading initiative for traders. Writing a real algo and going live in the market and giving trade / profit report. Initially you can restrict it to few well capitalised traders who understand and can take risks and then open it to all traders...

Better yet is to follow/improve the Quantopian model. Let users develop their algos, test them and deploy them. Fund the ones that are better performing and share profits(Instead of employing traders at your desks).

Among the charges levied, I see that STT is rounded off to the nearest integer. is it a legal requirement ?

I think all broker charging STT rounded off so no digit after decimal and Stamp minimum Rs 1, even actual is Rs 0.01

Oh yeah.. stamp duty. No stamps stamped, no physical document generated, the registrar not troubled for anything........ yet we pay the "stamp duty"
