It happens sometimes with me too, but unable to find the exact reason.
It seems like when internet connectivity goes down, KITE disconnected from server and didn't backfill the chart...
no nothing to do with iuser's nternet connection it is a kite issue ....only solution is to clear cache or retry login till it resolves ....
this is not a new issue reported by many users in the past one year ...of course it is not fixed ...

We've tried replicating the issue but haven't been able to. Yes, if your internet connectivity drops, the chart would stop rendering. This can be fixed by simply refreshing the page though. Would it be possible for you to call the support desk the next time this happens so someone here can take remote access to your system and check what's going wrong?
