So I had invested in Ricoh last month but now finding that the company has been delisted from all major BSE indices and has been placed in Z category of stocks..logged in to my brokerage account and found that I am not able to sell the stock..willing to take a loss but how to I shift it out?

The ‘Z’ group was introduced by the Exchange in July 1999 and includes the companies which have failed to comply with the listing requirements of the Exchange and/or have failed to resolve investor complaints or have not made the required arrangements with both the Depositories, viz., Central Depository Services (I) Ltd. (CDSL) and National Securities Depository Ltd. (NSDL) for dematerialization of their securities.”

Never invest in Z group stocks, those companies dont care about investors.

@aryan...thanks for the reply. I do know what Z group stocks are..but what to do when one of your stocks (which was not in that category) gets dropped later on...do they get out of the category later on?
