Trading is not easy in any way, it is risky in day time and in after normal trading hours also. I use AMOs if I forgot to buy/sell some stock in the day time with careful analysis that it might opens at the same level next day.

Personally, I am not a fan of after market hours trading. I think it's beneficial only for those who don't get enough time during normal market hours to place trades. In fact, there is low liquidity during after market hours.
