i know about simple charts using angel broker software but what is this afl and eod real time data and why we pay for it i mean whatt is special in it .. we can get everything in angel broking charts...plz anybody tell me about all this if any one have time ...thank u

Hi gujrant,

Afl is Amibroker Formula Language. Amibroker is a charting software which offers so many functions apart from charting. Google it to find more info.

EOD is end of the day data, used to plot daily/weekly charts.

Real time data, the term itself is self explanatory. Real time ticks .

We need real time data to feed in the charting software to plot charts of intraday.

I too use angel broking charts. But how many days of chart do you get in angel? I get T+4, which is not sufficient for trading my system. Hence subscribing to IBC.

If you subscribe to data provider, they will give 60 days to past 6 months ( It depends on data provider)Intraday data for backfilling besides real time data, which is not available in Angel.

but i can watch 10 year data on angel chart ...each candle of day from past 10 years ...y r u saying they will only provide 6 months...plz say some easy words bro ..m totally confused...
