what is AAA papers?

Hi,

I was going through the mutual fund schemes of Sundaram MF. They said that they are investing in highest rated AAA papers. Highest rater AAA iis the rating given by rating agencies.

What constitues papers?

Rating agencies rate the corporate debt (debentures/bonds) issues depending on the financials and future prospects of the corporate. AAA is rating grade in such rating scheme for that particular instrument.
