What has been your Shortest Trade Duration

Hi guys,

I guess the title of the Thread says it all....... Today, I completed my Shortest Trade in terms of duration..... The trade was live for just 24 seconds.... Went Long 3lots in 5500PE Nifty (Feb Series) at 13.00 and closed it at 15.00...... Perfectly as planned..... Got around 250 bucks from it.....

What has been your Shortest trade duration.....

I do not remember ... maybe a few hours.

However, if others chime in, please do talk about the longest trade. Please do not talk about your investments, but trade which you ran for weeks, months or years purely on technical basis.

Shortest trade : 15-20 seconds in option scalping....15 min in futures

Longest Trade : About 20-22 days.I remember having traded from short/long direction for 4-5 months also but that consists of few trades where I take a position, book profits...stay out and again take a position....so different trades. But normally my trade will not last for more than 20-22 days.

If I remove the Investment trades...... Then, my longest trade has been about 3-3.5 hours........
