The rupee rose 11 paise on Friday, rebounding from a one-month low, but the 10-year benchmark bond yield remained flat at 8.83 per cent. The rupee, which touched an intra-day low of 62.56 to a dollar, rose 0.18 per cent to close at 62.16.
For now the euro is down against the dollar with the latest decision of the ECB to carry on with its assets purchasing program. There is more uncertainty around the dollar with many looking up to the next US Fed meeting.
