Understanding stop loss opening price relationship

#1
hello everyone,

i dont understand trading, so someone please help me along. In case this has been asked before, please point me to the relevant thread. :)

If I buy a Nifty futures today at lets say 4000 with a stop loss at 4100, t'row if the opening price is 4200 does my order get executed still at 4100?

Thanks in advance.

your post should be more details

i assume you place an order(not buying) after trading hours...... so if you place offline order with a STPL of 4100 and limit of 4000, if the opening price is 4200, YOUR ORDER WILL NOT GET EXECUTED, because the open price is beyond STPL or LIMIT price........

if the price comes to 4100 after open price your order may get executed......
