trading from cellphone anyone

dear members i am an active trader however i can not carry my laptop at my workplace
can i use a cellphone for this....
can u suggest an internet enabled cellphone that can be used for trading

i use reliancemoney which runs only on ie6 and above and needs java enabled..

to the best of my knowledge it doesnt run in chrome or firefox


if possible suggest a cdma handset in range of 10k:)......

Regulators are allowed to trade via mobile , but on ground level very few brokers came out with the "mobile applications". I think it will take time to implement it.

On the mobile side any medium level GSM/GPRS/EDGE mobile set can do it costing Rs 5000 to 6000 . CDMA lower level & high/mid range sets are very buggy sets:mad:

No, It will not run IE but your broker or other brokers will provide a "java application" for general phones , & for other high end phone there will be other applications like for example for Windows phone, for Android phone or for Symbian phone there will be other applications.

as per the above link it appears like exchanges are going to offer "applications". We have to watch it.

Try Nokia E5... it may have features that u require. Please check once at your end.

recently some brokers have started offering mobile trading platforms. contact ur broker for the same!

e.g. Angel Broking have launched their mobile trading platform Angel Swift!
