Yes, agreed.

But I have seen it go berserk on almost all event days. Karvy hasn’t let me down even once. That’s why I’m kinda stuck.

I wanted a full service broker as I could only use my mobile app for trading and I trade daily. I’m not sure if there are any full service brokers who could compete with Zerodha and the likes.

Zerodha's kite app (3.0) is one of the best mobile app out there if not 'the best'. Just take a demo of it and see if it suit your requirement.

Full service brokers are not worth paying such high brokerage if you are not into research recommendations and free call & trade etc. I am a critic of z's downtime but looks like they have improved their platform stability since last month.

I do not trade intraday , so not able to comment, their platform , mob.application is not at all good for Intraday trading, for positional trading it is ok.

In Karvy, if I put in one buy order for 10 lots, my brokerage would be 1000 (100/lot).

That’s huge. I do 5 lots intraday and brokerage is always zero with Finvasia apart from taxes. I agree with soft_trader that you need to change the broker. Karvy is draining your profits.
