Total Traded Quantity-NSE

#1
Hi,

NSE gives everyday total traded quantity (TTQ) on every share traded. for examble, Reliance's TTQ today(01/12/2004) is 6203906. How is this figure being calculated?

for examble, "A" sells 100 RIL shares and "B" buys 100 shares. will it be treated this as one transaction or two transaction?

how many shares will be considered as TTQ? whether 100 shares or 200 shares?

Is TTQ universal concept or differs from exchange to exchange?

please explain.

100 shares will be considered. A transaction can only take place when the share moves from a seller to a buyer!
