Friends I am starting a new hread with some spiritual and wisdom Thoughts Hope one of them get daily his useful thought:thumb:

When you are working, weave the thought of God around that activity. When you are in touch with God, you will see all your desires mysteriously fulfilled. But you must seek Him first. He has given you everything; but only if you forsake all His gifts, preferring Him, will He surrender Himself. When you show God that you are willing to sacrifice everything to know Him, He will come to you.

An experienced & wise master grew tired of his apprentice complaining. One morning he sent the apprentice for some salt.



When the apprentice returned, the master instructed the unhappy young man to put a handful of salt in a glass of water and drink it.

"How does it taste?" the master asked.

"Bitter," spit the apprentice.

The master chuckled and then asked the young man to put a handful of Salt in the lake nearby.

The two walked to the nearby lake. After the apprentice swirled his

Handful of salt into the water, the old man said, "Now drink from the lake.."

As the water dripped down the young man's chin, the master asked, "Now How does this taste?"

"Fresh & Sweet" remarked the apprentice.

"Do you taste the salt?" asked the master.

"No," said the young man.

At this, the master sat beside the young man who so reminded him of Himself at one time and held his hands.

He told the young man, "The pain of life is pure salt; no more, no less.

The amount of pain in life remains exactly the same. However, the amount of bitterness we taste depends on the container we put the pain in.

So when you are in pain, the only thing you can do is to enlarge your sense of things . . .

"Stop being a glass. Become a lake."

Praveen Bhai. Wonderful thread for some refreshing reading beyond TA, indicators, system which are in abundance in TJ.

Hard to find something here, which takes us beyond just the Entry, exit, stoploss, Rs and addresses the human needs of next level.

I think you are the only contributor of such material here and I enjoy your threads cause I am Human being first, xxxx next, yyyy after that .. and trading comes somewhere at 6th or 7th level down there.

Keep it up.

Tips.Seeker, There is enough of trading oriented threads there.. and even Praveen runs one such thread. This thread is beyond trading..
If you stretch your imagination then u can find relations to the stuff that are concern of us traders

How many time have u heard trader complaining about their stoploss, about loosing trader, losses, loosing system (if they have one), buy at top and sell at bottom.. and many more complain...

"Stop being a glass. Become a lake."

Isn't msg clear that a trade is just a single trade. Be a trader and look for profitablity over n number of trades.. Expand and change our thought process beyond 1 single trade and trying to win in that always.

I have just given two examples here as per my understanding on the key msgs from the story.. Whatever I have heard, read, listened from about age old "Word of Wisdom" stories are almost true in many more fields then the subject of story.. Problem is we take them word by word and ignore the gist of it.

Hope you go beyond the words and try to pick up the msg. And in most cases, the msg is nothing new to us (like any new indicator used to identify the TREND), but it is always good to refersh.

A man hated his wife's cat and he decided to get rid of it. He drove 20 blocks away from home and dropped the cat there. The cat was already walking up the driveway when he approached his home.

The next day, he decided to drop the cat 40 blocks away but the same thing happened.. He kept increasing the number of blocks but the cat kept coming home before him.

At last he decided to drive a few miles away, turn right, then left, past the bridge, then right again and another right and so on until he reached what he thought was a perfect spot and dropped the cat there.

An hour later.... The man calls his wife at home and asked her, "Jen is the cat there?" "Yes, why do you ask?" answered the wife.

Frustrated the man said," Put that damn cat on the phone, I am lost and I need directions to reach home!!!

Moral:

"How much ever we dislike somebody, someday we will need their assistance. So never worry how many people dislike you ... "
