Agreed. But then trend is a very ambiguos term. Give me any weekly expiry of Bank Nifty in the last 6months and i will try to prove my point.

There have been instances i think in July and November where an option went from Rs.3.50 to Rs.170 in a couple of hours.

Apache ji i also use supports and resistances but mine are dynamic (the EMA's). Anyways if you are getting good results following your system then there is really no need to experiment any further.

Options they say are weapons of mass destruction but by using spreads you can use it to your advantage. The reason i only trade in Banknifty and its derivatives is that unlike Nifty whose ATR is only 70 Bank Nifty's ATR is around 250. One can earn tremendously in a volatile market provided you are on the right side of the trend. A straight line in an ECG signifies death. So in this 250 points movement the In the money options also give a 60% move and the out of the money options give more than a 100% move. So it is very easy for an option to go from 20 to 200 if you get a 250point favourable move for 2days.

If you buy something for Rs.20 or its whereabouts then you only have that much to lose but if you catch the trend right well it can go up manifolds.

Trigger is 200EMA (Blue line) and then monitor your trades (Adds and to lock profits) by 36EMA (Pink Line)
