Stop Loss triggered without charts showing it

#1
I was trading in Wipro (equity), and my buy stop loss was executed @ 455.9 @ 3:07 pm. The nest plus charts only show a high of Rs. 455.25 in that time frame. Please help me understand why the stoploss was executed.

The charts in Nest or even with GFDL do not capture all the ticks that happen in the exchange. The Nest charts are a one second snapshot, and its common to have stops triggered without them showing on the charts. Of course, if its a problem like charts showing 440 and stop triggered at 455 would invite further investigation, but still, it would turn out to be some freak trade that triggered your buy stop.
