StockD - Another NSE EOD Data Downloader

Hi Virresh
Thanks for excellent Stock Downloader.
I have installed it on win10 64 bit and it is working fine.
I would like to know about the links from where you are downloading these files. Can you provide the API from where I can download these files.
I have noticed in Advanced tab you have provided API link under current link profile. I could not however understand it.

Hi rpc,
The software link profiles are explained in the user documentation https://github.com/virresh/StockD/wiki/User-Guide#what-are-link-profiles. Also, all the code is open source so you can look at the code to get even more detailed idea about how StockD is using those links.

Anyways, if you're interested in NSE's API, you should contact them for access. Here is the official website which has both the data's technical specifications and prices: https://www.nseindia.com/market-data/eod-historical-data-subscription

@trump, I've incorporated your request for delivery data in equity. You can use this feature in StockD v4.4
Also, I don't know if you got the indices data download working after the steps mentioned earlier. If you still have issues, kindly let me know along with a debug log.

Also, I've created an issue for options data (thanks to raty) at https://github.com/virresh/StockD/issues/4 for ease of tracking. Hopefully, someday I'll get enough time to implement it.

this server it seems slow enough ,if u can upload in another destination wud be good . mainly now as brodaband also giving low bandwidth due to extreme usage so with low speed ( eg 2 to 8mbps) the download speed become as low as 50 kbps atleast in my end

The download is provided by Github servers. I don't have funds to host it on a custom high speed server. Request you to understand and download at night if speed is an issue.

Delivery data is optional, and not the default
It will replace the OI column rather than a new column

Thanks a lot for such a good software.
Just one problem occurred, when i was trying to download 2015 data futures and indices bhavcopy got downloaded but equity bhavcopy gave error.
Error is Cannot find EQ bhavcopy.
Please help.

I have mentioned this in the user manual.
If you are looking for historical data, I suggest you to download it using a different link profile. Also, you will not get delivery data for historical data.

For your particular purpose, copy a link from the table and paste it in the link url inside advanced tab within stockd. Then load profile and save settings.

Now historical EOD for equity should work as well.

As per your suggestion tried other profile and got historical Equity bhavcopy downloaded.
But still not able to download Historical Index bhavcopy.
I want to download all the Index bhavcopy from 1996.
Please help.
