Can anyone help me with the price movements in base metals on expiry day here on MCX.. if someone has noticed any particular phenomenon or movement which happens regularly or some strange behaviour..

today is expiry for nickel lead zinc etc and what i'm seeing is as of now the current month (Mar) contracts for all three are trading about 0.5% higher than the next month.. plus USDINR fell sharply today in the last 3 hours.. can those be correlated ?
