Maybe you can sell shares that have been delisted through brokers offline, but they would have to find a buyer for those shares. That would depend on the likelihood of the shares being listed again.

hi Ivan!
Thankx for answering my queries.
Does anyone know how does block deal take place.I mean we generally read on screen(CNBCTV18)that a block deal of say 10 lac shares of 'X' -company has taken place at a rate of 110/share.
Also what does reverse repo auction mean???

Block deals are arranged by brokers. If one client wants to sell a large block of shares at price X, the brokers find another party that wants to buy the same shares at approimately the same price. The order is then entered on the screen, and the trade takes place without affecting the market price too much.

Reverse repo: When the RBI borrows money against its securities, the interest rate at which it does so is known as reverse repo. In other words, this is the rate the RBI pays banks when the banks lend the RBI money.
The process by which the RBI borrows the money is called the reverse repo auction.
