Selling in cash market

Hi freinds, i m new to trading.

I want to know if i sell any scrip in cash market and i don't square off by the end of the day. I heard it will be adjusted in options. but i m confused at what price it will be settled, price at the closing of the same day or price running on the third day.

Pls. answer my query.

If u don't have it in your demat account u can only shortsell in the intraday segment. If your broker has an auto square off facility it will be squared off if you don't do it at the ,market price at that time.

Nothing at all to do with options

I confirmed from my broker. he said it will be settled on third day at the closing price of that day
