Not a good day today:

Shorted Nifty at 8660, at 10:55 around time. SL 8680. Later got out at 8673

Again shorted at 8660late afternoon. Got out again at 8672. Not taken long there. It was mistake.

Long at 8692. Got out at 8705

Although throughout holding long positional position.

Hello Sir,

1. On what timeframe were the trades taken? I am assuming M5, just wnt to ensure.

2. What was your VPL before taking short? How did you assess the trend was down when taking short posn?

Thanks Sir for the quick reply. So your HTF would be hourly and trend on hourly is down indeed(8770 NF). Am i correct?

M15 VPL is NF 8640, wouldn't it be better if we wait for this VPL to break and only then initiate the trade?
Yes right, but as per perspective I have done it
