PC running too slow

#1
I am using LG desktop system with windows XP and it is running too slow. I already cleared the cookies, temp files and prefetch files and also did disk fragmentation but nothing is helping me out. So, can I fix the problem without formatting the system?

What is the Ram Size?

Also, post two images of the WIndows Task manager, sorted as per CPU usage and Memory usage separately.

I will be able to give you the answer.

Did you make all updates for XP?
If not, here the link: http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/thanks.aspx?ln=en&&thankspage=5

Did you clean your registry?
If not, here a link you may want to use: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/7smoker_pro.html

Did you make a deep scan of your system to be sure that it is not in any way infected?
If not, use the following link for Windows: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx The scan can take hours. So you may do it over night.

Did you try any tune up software like TuneUp 2013?
If not, here the link: http://www.tune-up.com/ Just use the test program.

Did you use the troubleshooter in Windows to test LG?

Has your XP system all what you need to run the LG system?

@Dan

I have a virus/malware on my system which does not let me browse any anti-virus websites like microsoft.com or norton or symantec etc.

I have done my bit.

Could you make some suggestions?

Do I understand it the right way: Your system is infected.

As your system is infected, download the Safety scanner on an other system, burn it to a CD, install it on your infected system and let it run. That should do the job.

Did it... but problem persists.
What did you do in that short time? You surely did not make a deep scan with the mentioned software, as this takes time. The mentioned software has found Trojans on my system, my normal AVG program did never mention to me.

That is the reason not use cracked. At least antivirus.

boot in safe mode and run that maleware again clean and check.

For performance download freeware ToolWiz Care.
