Options trading to beat the returns of traditional investment methods

short premium trades odd's r becoming increasingly worse with every passing day... very low volatility .. everyday theta is low as well... but u cant buy option and make money if index moves 50 pts a day.. occasional 200 pts day like 26th nov will take most of ur profits from other days.. what do u guys think?
