I liked the fact that everyone has shared their stories and now I want to check with the elders of my family if we have any rare coins. I have to add that I never thought numismatics as an investment source as I always thought it was a hobby for someone. Glad to have my eyes opened here.

Numismatic investment might be a very interesting type of investment but only if you know where to invest which is hardest part. In the western world some of these old coins can be sold on auctions or antique shops for significant amount of money. But only to other collectors...
