NTPC - Worth Buying ?

Hello friends,

I am thinking to buy NTPC at current level of around Rs. 260. Do you think it is worth buy the share at this prize ?

What amount of returns can I expect in 1 months and in 6 months ?

And what would be effect of Reliance Power on NTPC ?

definately their would be some effect of reliance Power IPO. At present NTPC might not be valued or money is not coming in but as overall power sector looks good and buying would come soon and NTPC will get valued above 300 and even more in 6 months time. The only testing time for the market is this quarter when lots of events are going around.

So buy NTPC and you will definately get 20 % returns in 6 months time.

Hi arpit,

Gud company but for 6 months I m not so sure, u can go for a longer period. I m not that gud in TA but I can advice on investments.

I was reading somewhere in moneycontrol that at the time of listing of RPL, RIL ran much faster than ONGC. But after listing ONGC fell mush faster than RIL.

In R-power case REL is running faster than NTPC. So, wud NTPC fall faster than REL? Experts shud answer, just putting my view. If u wanna trade till R-power listing then its gud.
