Nifty Index: Open Data not visible in Metastock

Hello,

I have downloaded nifty index historical data from 03-11-1995 from www.nse-india.com

But after converting the same in Downloader, I'm able to open the chart in Metastock 10.

The problem is it does not show the Open data, High, Low, Close are clearly visible. (I've attached the data file [.xls format] from which I've converted to Metastock.

As you all shall be aware many of Expert Advisors need Open price for various calculations. They are all returning error as open price is not available.

Will be great if anybody points out what is wrong.

Dear Jatin ,..

Here u go ,..

Go to downloader >> Tools >> convert

Now in the Convert securities box ,..

Hit options >> Destination >> click include open & open interest.

Hit Apply,..

This is if ur using EOD csv.

For one perticular Symbol.

The downloader >> file >> new >> security

Enter Sec name and symbol . Press datasheet.
Copy and paste the data from excel file u have.

This should work .

I have attached one day ieod of nifty futures data.

I need to convert the same for Metastock10 EOD.

Dear Jatin ,..

Sorry to say but u can not do that with Metastock 10 EOD. If u can read the name it self says its End Of Day software.

For importing intraday data into metastock, u need a pro version.

U may pm me for more.
