First of all , i am new to trading .
As i started searching about equity in net,i found that it is supply-demand basis.

If demand is not there for a particular equity is it possible to sell through trading account.

Is dividend is based on face value of share ?

Welcome to TJ. There are 2 ways to invest/trade in the stock of any company.

Based on Fundamental : We look at type of the company, their business, management, P/E, EPS, dividend etc etc. Usually this is long term investments.. like 1-2-5-10 years..

Based on Technical : Based on technical analysis which is tottaly based on how a certain stock has behaved in past and and we try to analyse how the future would be like.
