COALINDIA FUT one LOT BOUGHT at 302 and HINDALCO FUT one LOT SOLD at 122.40

and CARRIED this FOR TOMORROW.

Hindalco has broken important trend line of 120 and i felt it should be taken for going Long for targets of 130.Not sure what was in your mind for going Short.Kindly can you share please.

So not looking it at that individual PERSPECTIVE. Though I am trying this as an experiment.

Whats your plan if both Coal India and Hindalco move up?

Frankly, I hv negligible idea about Pair Trading. But whatever little I know, usually, Stocks of same sector are traded in opposite directions.
SAIL and Jindal steel was understandable but Coal India and Hindalco!!????
Do post a few lines about the logic behind this Pair Trade.
